Rings, Dragons & Grail

Dragons

The Dragon Lineage is an ancient bloodline of Kingship, having jeweled rings as its vestiture of authority and power. The Ring of Power was infused with Magic; Words of Power inscribed upon it and Power Fields stored up in the crystal matrix of the gemstones, like electrical capacitors. The same holds true for the Crown for what is a crown but a ring worn about the head? It too, is festooned with the Crown Jewels, charged with the Magic Fields.

The Grail of Holy Eucharist

While there is far more to the Mysteries than can be told in a few mere words, the Grail represents the Vessel of Spirit: Ambrosia of the Gods.

Eostre Lilly

It is difficult to be too subtle when writing about this delicate symbol of pulchritude. The funnel-shaped Cup of Nectar is a metaphor for The Feminine. It is but one aspect only, yet gives rise to further metaphor regarding pollinators such as the Bee and the Butterfly (all of which are staples in the teaching lore of Esoteric Spirituality).

Red Rose, White Rose, Wild Rose

Humanity, living in proximity to mighty Nature has forever been awe inspired by the fiercely armed wild rose-bush, whose razor thorns so easily rend the fabric, rip the flesh, and draw blood a-plenty. There was never a better botanical metaphor for the bristling dragon.

But what a stunning spectacle of sheer beauty when the shrub is in full bloom! Was there ever a mightier metaphor for the enigma of womanhood?

Rose & Cross

Rose and Cross have always been a staple of Esoteric Christianity (cf. Rosicrucians). The particular shapes of the heart at the center of the rose and the Calvary Cross played a key role in the Arthurian Legends (Legend of the White Knight), being also a favorite iconography from the Jerusalem Crusades which featured a White Shield emblazoned with a red Cross.

Born In A Manger

Born in a shed during the dark of night (encased into matter which is opaque), surrounded by domesticated beasts (humans in general), attended by 3 wise magic personas (trimorphic protennoia)… could there be any more apt a metaphor for incarnating Spirit?

The Spiritual Impregnation of Matter is the Central Key to the Mystery of the Eucharist and the foregoing metaphors are all ancient symbols of their elaboration.

The Alchemical Christ-child, accompanied as He is by the whole entourage of His Lineage, represents the Hope of His Generation for the Emendation of His entire Ancestral Karma.
