Qabalistic Tarot for Leo

Strength:

The Eight Key is is the Hebrew letter ‘Teth’ which means ‘Snake’ and is represented by the Arcana known as ‘Strength’, which pictures a woman with a lemnescate for a hat, holding the Lion’s mouth with her hands. The Letter and the Card are the secret symbols for the Zodiacal sign of Leo, thus giving us a ‘Lion-Snake’.

A Lion Snake is another way of speaking about a Dragon, or the raw power and force available within the field of Dragon Magic. All those Lions you see on the heralds of Kings are the power of the Dragon Lineage. Much bloodshed and destruction have brought about these prancing imbeciles. This is not an intellectual sign but a symbol of power, savagely applied toward breaking people.

The Green Lion in Alchemy represents the raw power of Nature, fueled by the Sun. Plants are of course Green, but that is because all other frequencies are absorbed except the Green, which is reflected. The True Spectrum of this sign is in the Golden Yellow range. The Red Lion is the Solar Sulfur [R]: Freedom of the Soul to Act, Guided by the Fiery Red of Will ([Sch]). This is a Reddish Gold, then. Finally, there is the White Lion, the Elder, representing Lived Experience and all the Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding that come with it.

The Black Lion represents unmitigated chaos and destroys things utterly. This is the Pit of Hell with its swarms of demonic locusts and the cauldron of the Beast of Apocalyptic infamy. Its usefulness lies in utter ruin, bringing about entropy and indiscriminate thanatos. Corruption, fermentation and recycling are a few of its practical applications, though extreme care should be taken to buffer well its enzymatic reactions. The purpose of Art is the production of finest matured wine. Any more than a mere hint of vinegar will spoil the recipe. Rotten cabbage cannot be made fresh again. Runaway thanatos is a terrifying scourge. Nature contains within herself the seeds of her own destruction and once She is aroused, who can stand in her way. Evil will forever destroy itself.

The esoteric experience is one of Understanding and the Life-Spending Principle, while the Spiritual Wisdom is Walking in the Light and All Its Divine Resplendence. In these aspects, it is representing the upper regions of the Stellar exaltations, Glorified in the panpsychic collectivities of the 6th dimension. The Lion of Judah represents as well, the 4th and 5th dimensional aspects, which though portals to Victory, can be far lower and most brutal.

These are the Stellar forces, acting in the Soul, within their various Domains (Body, Soul, Spirit). This then, is the activity of the Lion Snake, or Dragon: the Soul Power of the Stellar Furnace. The Dragon Lineage is a vast and ancient Soul Journey, begun with the Wisdom of the Stars, with the purpose of eventual Salvation via the passage through the Star Seed phenomena (their Solar Larvae). It is a transdimensional Journey and requires the maturation of the 6D consciousness to comprehend.

Five of Wands

Lord of Strife (Saturn in Leo). This is Geburah in Atziluth, a pugilistic spirit of embattlement and a life-spending force of fighting one’s way through crowds of challengers at every street corner (simply to work off the excess energy). Over-strident striving leads to strife. The Saturnine force in Leo leads to agitation and disturbance and leads to fermentation into vinegar and destructive chaos. Saturn and Mars combine in Leo (the Dragon) to destroy things.

Six of Wands

Lord of Victory (Jupiter in Leo). This is the 6D Tiphareth in Atziluth (the world of Pure, Spiritual Energy), which is most Harmonious. A warm and generous Kingship is reflected in the Royal Jovian court, as it interacts with Big Hearted Leo. Stately Leo, the Elder, can be a most genial host. Everything you’d want in a Wise and caring King comes through this portal of energy.

Seven of Wands

Lord of Valorous Arts (Mars in Leo). The Martialist in this role has some training in the bokata and his approach in the fray is far more organized, logical, and practiced (than in the chaotic rabble of the 5 of Wands). He is applying science and technique in his Leonine position of superiority, typified by the various Dragon Lineages in the Martial Arts.

Beyond this, we are participating as Netzach in the world of Atziluth: Love, Feelings, Collective Associations, Group Mind, and the Arts expressed in the World of Spirit, with its pure, clean, naturally pristine energy. This is Ideal for all Divine Expression. The association of Netzach with Natural Instincts in Ideal, Spiritual ways can lead to an experiential Paradise: Light-filled syntropy in the Environmental Eden. We are, of course Projecting this in the Holodeck, but the Ilya (Playground of the Gods) is responding with enlightened nurture.
